Julene gives young people the tools to create learning change in their lives – for themselves and their families. She’s working with Te Aroha Noa to create individual, meaningful learning pathways for young people who struggle with the education system.

Te Aroha Noa is a community services organisation that empowers and connects young people and their whanau, creating a strong and vibrant community in Highbury, Palmerston North. Te Aroha Noa is a Turangawaewae, a safe place where young people belong and are given aroha, hope and possibility.
Walking alongside the youth and young parents, Julene creates learning spaces at Te Aroha Noa where the young people are able to explore what motivates them and find their own learning style – she gives them the tools to create change in their lives and grow potential for themselves and their families.
